Webinar Package
Our ‘Empowering Females in Swimming: Confidence, Nutrition and the Menstrual Cycle’ webinar includes an introduction from Freya Anderson MBE talking about her journey since starting swimming - from qualifying for nationals at 12 to winning an Olympic medal, and of course, all the ups and downs in between. (10 mins)
Dr Emily Jevons will lead an education session on nutrition and how to fuel correctly to meet the body’s needs and training demands. This will be followed by a session on the menstrual cycle, exploring the role of different hormones and how our needs change throughout the cycle. (30 mins)
A panel discussion, focussing on periods, body confidence and swim-life balance will then conclude the session, with Freya, Emily and lead coach Jen Rice, speaking openly about these topics. (20 mins)
Questions can be submitted prior to the webinar and we do our best to fit them all in!
