  • RMAP Land session

Join Jacob for a specialised land training session, when he will go through the exercises that make him one of the best.

Using the Raise, Mobilise, Activate, and Prime (RMAP) protocol devised by Swim England, Jacob will talk you through swim specific exercises that will help you transfer power from the land to the pool.

You will learn how to warm your body, mobilise your joints and activate key muscles before bringing these movements together, ready for the pool.

  • Nutrition Education Session

Learn about the fundamentals of nutrition and how everyday food choices can support your swimming, from fuelling training and competition to recovering afterwards. Explore the role of a balanced diet and understand why giving your body enough energy matters for both performance and wellbeing.

Discover practical ideas for meals and snacks before and after swimming, alongside guidance on hydration and planning food around busy training schedules. We’ll also look at preparing for race day, including what to consider when spending a full day at a competition.

With time to ask questions, this session will help you make sense of nutrition advice and apply it to your own routine, building confidence in choosing foods that support training, recovery and enjoyment of the sport.

  • Olympic Athlete Swim Journeys

Freya and Jacob share their swimming journeys, from their early days in the pool to competing at Olympic level. Hear about the achievements, setbacks and challenges along the way, and what helped them keep moving forward when things didn’t go to plan.

Through their personal experiences, they’ll explore resilience, perseverance and the importance of open communication with coaches and your support team. Discover how they approach difficult training periods, handle disappointing results and stay motivated while working towards their goals.

With practical tips and time to ask questions, this session will help swimmers navigate the highs and lows of competitive swimming, build confidence and recognise that progress isn’t always a straight line.
