FAST Small Group Sessions - learn from the best 🏊 🏊♀️
Freya Anderson MBE, representing Team England, Commonwealth games, Glasgow 2026
A message from Freya:
“Following the success of our one-to-one sessions over the summer, we’re excited to announce the launch of our small group sessions, led by Olympic and Commonwealth swimmers alongside our experienced FAST coaches.
We’re thrilled to bring this unique experience under the FAST umbrella, giving swimmers the opportunity to learn, develop and refine their technical skills with guidance from some of Britain’s best swimmers.
This is a fantastic opportunity for swimmers to gain valuable insight from athletes who have competed at the highest level, while working closely with our coaches in a small-group environment. We can’t wait to get started!”
FAST Athletes and Lead FAST Coach, Jen Rice

Jennifer Rice, Lead Coach at FAST
Jen is a former Commonwealth Games swimmer herself and an experienced performance coach, working with swimmers from county level through to those on the international stage, including two swimmers recently competing at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
Jen has been selected to coach within Swim England’s National Youth Performance Programme, supporting some of the country’s leading youth swimmers, alongside this Jen coaches the national youth program at the City Of Bristol and coaches the competitive squad University of Bath. Brining a rare combination of international racing experience and high-performance coaching expertise.
Why Small Groups?
Jen wanted to create small-group sessions because individual attention can make a huge difference to a swimmer’s development. With a maximum of six swimmers and two coaches, including an Olympian or Commonwealth level swimmer , we can look closely at each swimmer, identify the small details and provide genuinely personalised feedback.
Jen says “I’m really excited about these sessions. With only six swimmers and two coaches, we can get to know each swimmer, really look at their technique and give them feedback they can take straight back into their everyday training.
These are more than skills’ sessions and it’s not simply about learning a skill on the day. We want swimmers to understand how and why it works, and how to reproduce it consistently in training and racing.
From starts and turns to efficiency and technique, swimmers will learn how to make the small improvements that can have a big impact on performance, and support their long-term development in the sport.”
